Fuck Yeah _______

http://fuckyeahjockstraps.tumblr.com

We had a fantastic Thanksgiving dinner at my parents' house.  For once, I did nothing to help with the meal;  no cooking, serving or cleaning up.

The sad truth is that it was the most enjoyable holiday meal I've had in many years because my wife wasn't there.  She has had serious conflicts with every member of my family;  in fact, she hadn't spoken to my brother and sister-in-law for fourteen years.  This makes things a little tense when they are sitting across the table from you.  This family dinner was fun and relaxed, as it should be.

I'm exhausted as I've been working very hard on the house for next weekend's showing.  I've been doing it all (with a bit of paid help), packing up the clutter, completing unfinished projects, cleaning and "staging" room by room.  The house is starting to look great, however.

So...  how about a post with no thoughtful content at all?  Here are some pictures from some of my favourite Tumblr  fuck yeah sites.

  1. I'm not sure what to think about the second pic. The rib cage is kind of freaking me out. I'd need to make him eat a box of ice cream sandwiches before I bent him over.

  2. This seems to have a lot of thoughtful content packed into a short post. I'm just really glad for you that you're able to have a peaceful holiday with your family sans the drama.

On the pics, though, I may have to agree with Cubby on the 2nd pic. He also looks like he just stumbled out of bed. The first one's nice, though. Very nice, indeed.

  3. I think hottie #2 is really sexy! Actually, I picked that picture because that's just how skinny I was for many years, until I was about 30. People used to say I looked like I escaped from a prisoner-of-war camp.

And Mack, your comment that he looked like "he just stumbled out of bed." What's yer point? You make that sound like a bad thing... I'd love to have him in my bed any day!

#2 needs a philly cheesesteak or two, a box of tastykake butterscotch krimpets, several soft pretzels, and some scrapple and water ice to hide that rib cage!

I like the guy in the sneakers with his luscious ass to the camera.

  6. I can't think of anyone who deserved to sit back and ENJOY a holiday dinner more than you. From following your blog, I figure you earned it. You probably did the heavy lifting many a holiday dinner at home. Think of this as being the first of many.

  7. So good to read that you had a lovely Thanksgiving. That is my favorite holiday in the US too. I'm sorry that past years were so tense due to the X - I would imagine that was quite difficult.

Cheers (or should I say gobble gobble).

  8. Thanks, skier. You are right! I held down the fort for decades doing all the cooking. I love to cook and am very good at it, so that wasn't really a hardship. Early in our marriage, I hated eating my wife's cooking as it was so terrible so I gradually eased her aside.

Thanks, BosGuy! A survey showed that American men rate Thanksgiving as their #1 favourite holiday and Valentine's Day as their least favourite.

In recent years, my wife would arrive at my parents' holiday dinners at the last possible second and (rudely)leave immediately after dessert. Sometimes, she wouldn't show up at all and claim to be sick. So... only parts of those dinners were tense.
