Supermoon

Astronomers the world over were excited by the appearance of a Supermoon which reached its peak last Saturday.   This occurs which there is a full moon at the same time as the Moon moon's perigee — its closest approach to Earth.   At this time, we seen the Moon as being bigger and brighter than usual.
